Two bands that I saw in concert and really miss are:

Humble Pie

Ten Years After

And I have never heard a local band ever cover one of their songs.

It's not a local band, but I really wish Flaw would have stayed together. I think that's one band that was extremely underrated.

Korruption! I always had fun at their shows. Tom Keith, what a great bass player.

Quail, you knew I'd say that.

Pussycat was on the Poison tour in 02. They do still tour. but it's mostly small clubs.

Skid Row still tours. (minus Sebastian of course)

I think Fleetwood Mac still tours on occasion but a ticket would cost ya an arm, a leg and your first born.

Ken Oiler might. He said Crazy Louie is now back to playing real music again, somewhere down South. Man when he wanted to, he could play some great blues on those tele's of his.

Fleetwood Mac put out a great album last year, one of their best IMO. Saw them on tour last summer, tickets were reasonably priced (Hersheypark), GREAT show. Lindsay Buckingham is a very underrated guitarist.

I won't argue with you there. I seen Skid Row back in Nov 2000 at DAlexanders in Lebenon. Samantha 7 was opening. Didn't even know Skids were on the bill till we got there. Sollinger is good. But he's not Bach.

For Culture Club, Isn't Boy George a DJ now? Got himself in trouble with the law too not so long ago as well.

Flaw is NOT together anymore. Original members of Flaw: Chris Volz (vox), Ivan Arnold (drums), and Ben Patrick (bass) started FIVE.BOLT.MAIN after Republic/Univeral dropped Flaw (in 2004) after their second album sold around 200,000 copies. F.B.M is now under Rock Ridge Music, which is owned by Chris Henderson (3 Doors Down current guitar player) and two other guys.

(assuming by "miss" we mean bands we wish were around today): Soundgarden, Zeppelin, Alice in Chains, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble, Pantera

and, I have to add... Metallica

REAL Metallica, not this bastardized imitation spawned from the wussy-ass mind of Bob Rock
