It is with our deepest regrets that we announce the cancellation of this year's Sunset Blues Barbeque scheduled for October 22nd in Huntingdon, PA.

With an expected rainfall of 1/4 to 1/2 inch of rain and an afternoon high in the midforties it seemed impossible to continue with the event.

All Sunset Blues Barbeque ticket holders who purchased tickets with a credit card will be refunded the cost of the tickets automatically and will see the credit on their next statement. There is no action necessary to receive this credit. Ticket holders who purchased with a check or money order will also be refunded and will be contacted by Down to Earth Festivals in a timely manner.

We deeply regret the inconvenience this causes for everyone who was eagerly anticipating this year's Sunset, and we sincerely apologize to our patrons, musicians, staff, vendors, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who contributed their time and energy to Sunset. We are committed to presenting quality musical experiences and hope to emerge from this unfortunate setback to present events in the future.

Bump...I just received my notice about the cancellation today (Thurs.), and see the post was changed to reflect the cancellation of the event. Bumping it enable everyone else to see the update as well.

aw c'mon - there's nothing better than a BBQ in weather like that.. I'll tell you what - it would bring everybody a hell of a lot closer in an attempt to keep warm. But yeah..

And holy fuck @ the temps in the mid forties and rain - i wonder if we'll experience snow flurries in Du Bois that nite.. good god
