As long as we're reviewing equipment, I was wondering if any of you have had any experiences with Alvarez Guitars. I played a PD80S last week and I thought it sounded an played very well. I played it head to head with an ovation Balladier Special and the Alvarez was superior in both action and tone - plugged and unplugged. I'm thinking of buyiing either the PD80S, or the FD60AMB - a thing body fusion guitar.
If any of you have had experience with these guitars, or own one, let me know what you think.
Thanks.

Gits
I have owned a 6 and 12 string. Still have the 12 string.
Loved them both and I have owned the 12 string for over
15 years.

Re: Alvarez Guitars
no more than a month ago i picked up an Alvarez AD60 SC. after narrowing the options, i decided with Alvarez because of there sound quality, playability, and design. if at all you do decide to buy one, make sure it has a satin finished neck. this makes for amazingly easy playability. ive only had it for a month so i can say much for durability. all i can say is if you decide to get one you wont be disapointed.Atomic Jim wrote:As long as we're reviewing equipment, I was wondering if any of you have had any experiences with Alvarez Guitars. I handle Alverez's on a daily basis. They play real smooth, and eventually, I'd like to own one. I've heard them live, unplugged, and just plugged in and they always sound good to me.
