Dear Woofburger

Post by Killjingle »

Your short stories always make me laugh. If u take life 2 seriously, u end up pissed at the world. A woofstory a month helps relieve the stress of an otherwise ordinary existence. Keep em comin.

Knowing guys who actually act like Woofburger's caricature in real life, along with the dumb women that fall for the type, I love reading his posts.

He's (she's?) obviously a smart person (some of the best grammar on Rockpage) who finds the humour in testosterone-pumped alpha types and enjoys ripping them a new one through hyperbole.

Yeah, that's almost as funny as the post themselves.

Well, they say that most great art is controversial. :D Maybe people are looking at the glass and they are seeing something familiar that they don't like. ;)

Woofy's posts are plagiarized, though. They appear in another forum weeks and months before getting here.--->JMS

A lot of us play cover songs. Woof is like a cover poster.

I wonder if a lot of the forum scenesters would call him a sell-out. :?: :D

No, he's an internet troll. It's not that I'm offended by his fabricated stories, I just find trolls annoying.

I respectfully disagree. Trolls attack. Woof attacks no one. He just pisses people off who are too uptight.

::shrugs:: I find him pathetic. And I question the fact why you guys are praising him for anything he writes here but would be the first person to drag him out into a parking lot to beat the snot out of him if he treated your woman like he talks about them here.
I honestly have no idea why there is such a fascination about him and his stories of stupid "stud-pitity".
I guess I have a little more sense of self worth for me and the female population than some others do. ::shrugs once more:: But then again, I'm a "dumb broad who only desires the cock and wants to be treated like shit by men," so what do I know?

I'm just wondering who it is. I'm willing to bet my left pinky toe that it's just a regular on here that created that name Woofburger and 'character' just for something to do or to get a laugh. My best guess as to who would be RobTheDrummer!!!

Although most of his stuff can be a bit distrubing, and it does make you think that whoever it is, is very pathetic, I do find it amusing. It doesn't really bother me.

His posts are like the movie Napoleon Dynamite. When I first tried to watch it, I thought, "This movie blows. There is no plot, no moral, and no point." Then I realized that there isn't supposed to be a point to the movie. After I realized that and watched it again, it was hilarious!

How is the humor of woofburger any different than something like, say, Family Guy?

Everybody here loves Family Guy, right?

... case in point ...

One more time ... Woof's writings are FICTION ... don't like it, don't read it.

I wouldn't have to get pissed at him for talking to my girlfriend like that because I don't date bimbos who are just looking for a bad boy. But the fact is there are many dumb women out there, like it or not, and Woof's post are a parody of them.

And I love Family Guy!!!

Family Guy is brilliant satire... as smart as anything on TV. Woofy edits his own handle into someone else's coarse, formulaic stories.
"Once upon a time there were three Songsmiths. A Papa Songsmith, a Mama Songsmith and a Baby Songsmith. At breakfast one morning, Papa Songsmith said,'My Sheetz Porridgez is too hot,' so they all went for a stroll while it cooled. Along came Esa-locks, who knocked on the door. When nobody answered, she went inside..."
Where's the beef? How lame is that?
You all know I could have done SOOOOO much more with a story where Esa-locks winds up in three different beds. :D
You can bet I'M not Woofy. My evil twin would tag his posts like Bizarro-world. SMJ<-------

Craven is right. A troll doesn't attack, flamers do. Trolling gets it's name from fishing, not the creature under the bridge. Trolls make posts trying to get someone annoyed to the point where they start flaming the troll. The troll then usually has a flame war with the one who went for the bait.
... and then the wheel fell off.

I guess you could consider me a troll, I get all the "musicians" going because DRUMMERS RULE! hehe, I could also be called a Troll because of my looks, and we won't get into that!

In that case, I'd call Woof a puppet master, because he never initiates that flame war, he just sits back and watches them dance. I find it most hilarious.

Whatever you choose to call Woof, people need to be less uptight.

Don't be so hard on yourself Rob. You don't really look like a Troll. You may be more along the lines of an Ogre.
