I'm ever-loyal to my Yamahas, but I had the opportunity to play a set of DW's years ago when I played a show with Felix opening for Brownie Mary at The G-Man and they were some wonderful drums. Great sound, tone, and sustain. Congrats, Rob!!

They are just drums people...I traded my bike for them, seeing as I won't be able to use my bike all winter and I needed a new drum set. It's a 6 piece dark purple laquer 8, 10, 13, 16, 20 bass, 13 snare. i'm still in the process of getting hardware to mount them. I'm just glad to have a new set. I got hard shell cases with them too! HAHA! But yea, I think I'm just gonna keep playin the Pearl Prestige Session Kit and use the DWs for like a coffee table or something...I dunno yet. I'm glad you are all happy for me. Thanks!

Whatever! HA HA HA HA HA! 8) Good move on the cases. I just went from big ass road cases to Protection racket soft cases...theyre great and I would highly recommend to anyone not wanting hard cases.

He walked in with a package that could rival Virgil! The case was huge and i knew that i would see it soon. I was happy cause i never had one that big. Rob gently eased the 13" DW snare out of it's jail and layed it before me. As i slid it into the snare stand i had to loosen the arms but it fit nicely as i straddled it. Next i gave it a couple strokes and it responded well, a low moan came upon us both, ohhh did the stroke come back into my hand and stand at attention. As we started the Charlie Daniels tune did my mind wander about Songsmith and how he would be jealous at us both.

The beats increased and my breath palipitated with each rudimental approach as i climaxed into a floortom fury ending with a sexy buzzroll on that 13 inch god of buzzism! Me collapsing on my toms spent with drummerism that no bass, guitar or vocalist will ever experience.

I felt cheap and used as Rob and the 13" god walked out of my life never to be paradiddled again, ..........................

BTW....Nice snare Rob!

That's just sick. Plain sick! I've slept with my basses before, and I may frequently play with one while I'm on the toilet, but you sir, are a sick man!

LMAO about that post Hurricane!
