Urgent Guitar pickups question

I am building a guitar and I have a Dimarzio humbucker from a MM Axis for the neck position, and I have am EMG 81 for the bridge. Since the EMG is active and the Dimarzio is not, is there going to be a big volume difference when switching from the neck (Dimarzio) to the bridge (EMG) pickup or vice versa???

I plan on somehow having each hum have its own completely seperate controls. The only thing they would have in common is that they would share an output jack. (If each had its own vol control, I think that would help.)

If you are at least semi-savvy w/ active pickups please reply ASAFP! I'm trying to finish this in the by May 20th.
