Anybody see the pilot episode last night on Adult Swim? It's not even finished yet, and I thought it was hilarious. It's by the guys who make Aqua Teen Hunger Force, which I've become addicted to.---->JMS

I love ATHF. They are right up there with Ren and Stimpy, Rockos Modern Life, Angry Beavers, Simpsons, Futurama, and Family Guy.
What time does it air? I definintely wanna catch this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They said after the pilot that it'll drop in August. The animation wasn't finished... lots of scenes just had "placekeeper" sketches, very crude pencil-drawings with scene and shot numbers in the corner, but it was still awesome, and it gave you an idea of how things are animated, apparently, they do the soundtrack before the animation, makes sense.
It's very "Aqua Team"... the guy who does Master Shake does the voice of Great-Grandma, and he was so funny, I thought I was gonna have a stroke. It's also like "Aqua Team" in that, if you try to explain the "plot" to someone, you end up sounding like you stood too close to the bong. The episode featured a hillbilly squid who goes to jail after robbing a general store of an auto-reverse cassette Walkman and Bad Company "10 from 6" cassette so he can have sex in a porta-potty with a fat human chick, fathering an inter-species child who perms the narrator's hair with a quarter-million dollars worth of crystal meth, then goes on a quest to find his jailed squid father. That's the first 5 minutes. You gotta pay attention.
Can't wait to see what happens...--->JMS

So it's on thursdays? What time? What do you think of the Robot Chicken show? It's not bad...not as good as ATHF and all...but it still tickles my funny buttons.

And what do you think about the stupid Milk Chen whatever it is on there. I usually catch it late Saturday/early Sunday Morning (like 3 am'ish area).
I think the money they use on that one could have been put to better use...

I think it's not on at all until August... this was a one-time thing. They play Robot Chicken and Sealab 2021 on Thursdays usually. I like Robot Chicken... certain sketches, anyway. They did "Behind The Music - Dr. Teeth And The Electric Mayhem" a few weeks ago... VERY funny. Zoot became a heroin junkie, the blond girl was terminal with hepatitus B, Kermit got "made an example of" by the Mob, and Animal was put to sleep after he bloodily attacked Ed McMahon on a "Star Search" appearance. Floyd the bass player said they'd never get the band back together. Seth Green never ceases to amaze me... I just saw him in "Party Monster" on cable the other night, he was the best actor in that movie. He also did Greg The Bunny, which I think was vastly underrated as an edgy comedy. Plus he's the voice of "Chris" on Family Guy.
Another cool thing about Robot Chicken is the cameo's by big stars... watch the credits closely, some very big names, and Mila Kunis is even one of the producers.
Check me out... you'd think all I ever do is sit and watch cartoons. Sometimes I play music, too, y'know. :D ----->JMS
