Its with a heavy heart we have to announce our bassist Mike Leitzel will be leaving the band in early May. Mike will be pursuing his academic career in Europe over the summer and the next school year and he will be sorely missed as our dear friend.
We have a most EXCELLENT relief hitter filling in until we find a full-time replacement.
With all that said, we are in search of a full-time, dedicated player to join The Nightcrawlers.
State College based band. This is a steady working original/cover band and we will be releasing our debut EP in early April. We have a strong following in the State College area with goals to branch out over the summer and thru 2005 into major metro areas (Harrisburg, Philly, Pittsburg, NYC). We currently have music on radio rotation and hope to hit college radio hard this year. Interested individuals must be well versed in various styles of music, have a great attitude, and strong work ethic. Must have transportaion, gear and be willing to put the time into this band. This is our labor of love and we have a promising future. We play anywhere from 6-10 times a month and sometimes more (weekly Thursday night gig in SC). Its very difficult to describe our sound, but it ranges from rock, alt-country, jazz, funk, worldbeat, latin and rockabilly.
Male, female, black, white, hispanic, asian or martian we do not care...so hit us up and lets get to it!
