The kids in our communities need your help. With the start of school there are many kids who are interested in joining the school bands and orchestra programs. Many of them won't be able to because their parents can't afford to buy or rent instruments. So many of these kids admire so many of you, the local musicians and want to be like you, play the same kind of instruments and music that you play. We need your help in making their dreams a reality. I know there are many unused instruments out there and they need someone to play them. We are not asking you to give up your collectors items or anything of value, but I'm sure that there is SOMETHING that you could donate. Please take into consideration when you were a young musician just getting started, you would have given your right arm for the instrument you wanted to play. Give the kids of our communities the same consideration. I know I will be hearing from some of you, please tell your friends and families that we need their help as well. For those of you who don't know about our organization and what we are about, visit us at www.getclosertothemusic.org.
To donate instruments please call myself, Cathy at 935-1634 or Ed at 207-2934 and we will make the arrangements to pick up your donations.
I know we can count on our friends and fellow musicians to help the kids of our communities have their dreams come true.
Thanks a million everyone
Cathy

Why is this at the end
Why is this topic on the 2nd page? I would have thought there would have been some response to this from "the musicians" on here. I can't believe that no one wants to do anything to help. I know many of you and can't believe that no one has stepped forward with something.
