Is our scene that Bad ?

I know alot of people complain about a bad scene on here and this is in reference to that.

We played a party this evening ( nice early job )( home by 11:00 ) Slow the first set, 2nd and 3rd they were dancin in the yard.

A couple introduced themselves and talk to me afterwards, they were from Virginia, they were exited to here a band ( They didn't even mind we had an off night ). They told me that the only thing the bars where they are from do is Karaoke and DJs. They told me how much they missed being back here and paying $3 buck to go hear a band and drinking all night at a couple bucks a beer.

So if his is the case I guess it isn't so bad here is it?

No, it isn't all that bad. My wife and I have a lot of friends that live outside of the Altoona/Johnstown area. These folks love coming here for a visit because of the entertainment. The really like the fact that drinks are like 1/2 the price (or better) than anywhere they are used to back home.

My opinion is that a lot of people that live around our area just take it for granted.
