The Warehouse Bar and Club situation

Post by Killjingle »

I just spoke with one of the owners to clear this up. I have a contract with the bar to do their website which can be found at http://warehousebarandclub.com. Kevin is the new manager, and bands can feel free to contact him about their upcoming shows. The phone number is 814-623-7417. The statement I was given is that too much money was going out and not enough coming in is why the past manager was released. He also said if contracts were signed they were willing to honor them. If your band does not have a contract you need to contact Kevin and announce the deal that was talked about, so that a solution beneficial to both parties could be arrived upon. They do have the schedule up until October via the website, so they are aware of who is scheduled to play. I am not taking an official side to the management switch, who was right who was wrong, I am simply giving the information that I was given by one of the owners.

Thanks for the info. Hell, this blows. Imagine a decent cut of your weekday bookings erased just like that. I'm starting to get to the point and find some steady gigs, so we don't have to worry about this kind of stuff. I'm not going to mention the establishment's name, but before we went to Florida they stiffed us out of a date. Doing my usual "call the day before to confirm," I found out a DJ was booked instead of us.
