Fist Fight...?

Post by IN-BASS »

I was just wondering, I read the posts on here every day ( yes I'm a rockpage junkie ) ... and sometimes things get a little heated in here, personal and political mud slinging, name calling, people telling one another to F**k Off, and whatnot.. so my question to all of you ...

Has anyone had or does anyone know of any face to face confrontations between 2 rockpage contributors?

Not that I want to see this happen.. I'm a rather peacefull fellow.. just wondering if it ever has happened.

What would be really insane, is if Rockpage members had to box George Foreman for 5 rounds.

Like I said earlier, that's an easy way to fix all of these arguments; have everyone with an opinion box George Foreman, and if you're still standing afterwards, then your opinion becomes a maxim.

Hey Paul, does this mean you are volunteering to go first?!?

Of course not, I'm the promotor. I'm already growing my hair, and looking at some white hair dyes.

Funny subject, I don't think most of the stuff on here would get to that and hopefully it never does, even when an argument seems heated I don't think its really too heated.

The thing that we should worry about is some psycho coming on here , one of us getting in an argument with him or her ( aja ) and that person coming to pay a visit.

What a great idea!

"Watch local musicians take each other on, mano a mano, in 15 elimination rounds, tag team matches, and the dreaded cage match!"

We could hold it at the Jaffa and donate the proceeds to some worthy charity, like the George Foreman "No Child Left Meatless" Foundation. In case you've never heard of this marvelous coalition, George donates hundreds of his "lean mean" grills to needy families each year in the hopes that no Underprivileged kids end up as (gasp) vegetarians!

Paul, I think that the Don King look would be very agreeable to you...and I've heard rumors that you're on the "inside" with Foreman! You've got the lead, friend!

And next, we go with public political debates (now THAT one could get bloody;).

Cheers,

thats all they do there is bitch and complain bout each other..i mean every post..and wut sucks is the website itself is really a very good site to look into if u or ur band is looking to get into the harrisburg area,I myself ignore bad posts, but like they say even bad publicity is good publicity..if ur going to have someone make up ur mind for u w/out even listening to the band urself,,maybe u should take the time and go check CHECK OUT A NEW BAND EVERYONCE IN A WHILE.We (wiskerbisket) unfortunately playout evetryweekend.we have enough material to play all night, but we like to have openers to come and play w.us..i guess thats how we check out new bands...
PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I agree; this is a great idea. People are bordering on violence over the glamness of Van Halen. There's nothing like a good visceral experience to get your thanatos in order.

re Tonefight: I don't know if you were around for the "Reason Saga", but if I can remember correctly, he threatened violence (and some lewd comments about peoples wives) once people tore apart his half-assed arguments.

I'm in, man. I wanna tag team with The Grimm's singer. McMahon's mom lives in Ebensburg. Maybe we could get him to promote it.

Was anyone around the night that Sona got into a big fight right on stage at the Crowbar?? I think that was Sona. That year was a blur at old PSU.

I remember when two members of Force Of Habit got into a fight during a benefit concert at Chaser's in Tyrone a few years back. It brought the show to an abrupt end, and left the family the benefit was for staring on in shock! That show definitely makes my "Top Ten JP War Stories" list if I ever post one someday...

I'm guessing one of those members of Force of Habit ( initials S.M. ) was an x band mate of mine, If so I remember a fella at a biker party squeezing his head in a headlock till it was purple. This 105lb dude was no match for a burly biker.

You know, there can be a lot of arguing and disagreements on this page from time to time, but the fact is that when I see people on rockpage out somewhere playing or just in public, I totally support them. No one agrees on everything and there is no reason to hate each other because of that. Everyone has an opinion and is free to express it, no reason to hate and fight because of that. Period.

The only person I ever thought of finding and beating the piss out of was Metal Rules. Just on principal.
