Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the June 26 edition of 105.9 Qwik-Rock's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Lion Country's Rock Station, 105.9 Qwik-Rock. The show can also be streamed via Qwik's website, www.1059qwikrock.com.

This week, we presented the 2016 installment of our annual "Cover Song Special!" We again explored how area bands and musicians interpret songs from other creators! Along the way, we introduced new covers from Crossroads Duo, The Clarks, Andy Mowatt, Pevarnik Mollick & King, and One Adam 12! We also dug a 1997 live cover by Korruption from the archive for this week's "Local Music Flashback!"
