Some sad news from Pellegrine's...This past Sunday night, after the bar had closed, Lee (who tends Pelly's band room bar with Natalie) was changing over the marquee in front of the building at around 4 AM, when he apparently slipped or mistepped and fell from the ladder, fracturing his skull. He had bone chips in his brain, and underwent 6 hours of surgery on Wednesday. He likely faces a very long road to recovery.

Pelly's has a collection jar on the main bar for donations to help Lee out. If you're in Pelly's, donate generously. I'm not sure if there is any talk about a possible benefit for Lee, but any interested bands should touch base with Harry Jr., I'm sure he'd be game for hosting one.

Please keep Lee in your thoughts and prayers.

One of our part-timers at the radio station also works at Pelly's, and she said that the surgery went well, and that Lee should be headed home to recuperate soon.
