Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the February 14 edition of 105.9 Qwik-Rock's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Lion Country's Rock Station, 105.9 Qwik-Rock. The show can also be streamed via Qwik's website, www.1059qwikrock.com.
We explored more new recordings that have arrived in the "Homegrown Rocker" mailboxes in recent weeks. We debuted new songs from The Perkolators, Big Atlantic, One Adam 12 and Volcano Dogs. We also updated "Local Music News," dug a 1982 song by the Tom Brunner Group from the archive for a "Local Music Flashback," and stepped "Across State Lines" to hear a song from Brooklyn's J and the 9s.
