Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the January 24 edition of 105.9 Qwik-Rock's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Lion Country's Rock Station, 105.9 Qwik-Rock. The show can also be streamed via Qwik's website, www.1059qwikrock.com.
We again provided maximum local and regional music this week as we revisited the mailboxes to check out new recordings that have arrived in recent weeks! We debuted new tunes from Eric Val, The Crew of the Half Moon, The Tommy Roberts, Johnny Searfoss, Natascha & the Spy Boys, The Terribles, Fine Wives and Let The River Swell. In addition, we updated "Local Music News," dug a 2001 song by Tripwire from the archive for this week's "Local Music Flashback," stepped "Across State Lines" to hear a song by Boston-based The Self-Proclaimed Rockstars, and reviewed Andy Mowatt's An End to the Means CD in "The Professor's CD Corner!"
