Lead singer becoming harder to finds than Drummers?

I feel that Recruiting a GOOD Lead singer is becoming harder than finding a GOOD drummer.

For quite a while i been looking for a Solo voice for my Project (and still looking) but it seems No one wants to sing,and the ones who want to sing ...can't....

Maybe its just me

What kind of style are you looking for here? I was told by someone I work with to come to this website and see if I can find a band or someone to sing with. I'm interested so just let me know what you're looking for.

well if possible follow the links Displayed "My reverbnation" & "My Soundcloud"

You'll get an idea of this Project is oriented so far,So we'll talk if you can give me your 2 cents About the Music so far and what approach because there is no right or wrong about this =)

How you would like too have (How to sing it etc)

Wow. Is that all you there? With all the instruments? That's amazing! The question is do you have lyrics written for them. If not, I might be able to help out with that.

Yes all is performed by me with the exception of the drums,(Its a virtual machine)

No lyrics whatsoever...its not really my strong point so i decided to stay away from writing them!
I cant sing even if my life depended on it so...You see the situation lol =)

But yeah ill take all the help i can

Music is only awesome when a Band gets together man...

Writing songs alone is Very demanding not to mention i go Weeks in wich i dont even pick my guitar up!

It borderlines depressive sometimes in all Honesty!

Any person can get better at an instrument...only thing u wither have or not is hapiness doing it

Just my opinion, but I think that the singer has to like the material. Since all of us have different tastes, it becomes hard to find a good singer. I play guitar as well, but honestly it irritates me to no end if someone wants me to sing a song I don't like, or in a style I don't like

I couldn't agree more,In fact i will add to that....

The worst part is when Someone asks you to Sing like "x" Person...Or "y" Person...Because you go for an audition as a lead singer...Not a copy cat or someone else!

That's how i feel about it!

Finding a vocalist isn't that hard. Finding a vocalist with the "Wow! Factor" is exceptionally difficult. And your project's chance of success increases ten-fold when the front person has the Wow! Factor.

Very true!

That's why i keep my expectations down to Earth man,it doesn't hurt to Play something on a different Octave if its gonna benefit the Lead Singer and everyone else

In all honesty, I'm still very much so interested, but the only problem is my car is a huge piece of crap (causing me to start saving up money no a down payment for a new one hopefully within the next year) and making a drive out of my city is going to be a difficult task

I will set my stuff up and do a vocal on one of the songs, and you can let me know what you think. Any song that you really want a vocal on more than any other? I will focus on that one if you want. That's a lot of work doing that many songs solo! I'm also at swindber at aol to email me.

I had lawyer draw up contracts for all my potential players because Professional isn't in most of local Lingo.

Im not a very good critic...its very hard for me to label my music as a genre..but something progressive i guess u nailed it my friend!
