Spector bass for sale

Post by slackin@dabass »

Hello all. I have a Spector euro lx35 for sale. It's a discontinued model. 35" scale neck. Active emg p and J pickups with an active 3 band eq with a selectable mid push/pull knob to switch the mid frequency. It is a 4 string which Spector tuned to bead, but it works well in any tuning. The extended scale really helps the low string tension in lower tuning. There are a few dings, a few scratches. It still plays great and sounds awesome. The low notes are growely like a grand piano and the high notes are creamy and smooth. 2 of the knobs came off ( which seems to be a Spector thing) but I do have them. The p pickup volume pot needs replaced to put the knob back on. The pot still works, but half the knurled portion broke off. It could use new strings and maybe a set up. It will include a Spector gig bag.

This model retailed right around $1800 and I bought it used, so I'd like to see around $600 for it being that a lot of the scratches and dings are from it being played out with. I really don't want to part with it, but I'm not a bass player, just a drummer who happened to play bass. It's sat in it's bag on a stand for the past 2 years, not being played. Something that sounds this good shouldn't be stored but should be played on. Thanks for checking out my add, pictures to follow.

Message me here on rockpage or call/text 814-650-2470 pretty much any time as long as it's not the middle of the night. Thanks again.

Dang I wish I could buy this back from you! It is a tone MONSTER!

If my other bass sells, you'll be the first person I message. That price is a steal for any Euro Spector in any condition, especially a rare no longer made LX35.

I'm glad it got played and got rocked! That's what they're for!

Just wanted to amend my add with the fact I'm not going to take less than 600. I'm tired getting low balled, I think I'm asking an extremely low price for a top end instrument.

I can't believe people are trying to haggle on a $600 Euro! That price isn't just a deal, it's nearly a steal!

Would you consider a Yamaha DTXpress electronic drum kit as a trade?
