This afternoon, a state Senate Law and Justice Committee voted unanimously to approve a medical marijuana bill, co-sponsored by Sen. Mike Folmer and Sen. Daylin Leach. The Senate should act swiftly to pass SB 1182 now!
This means that the PA. State Senate should take this to a vote but they need your support.
I sent an email to my senator. I personalized my message. Here's what I said:
"I personally do not fully agree with this bill.
"Marijuana was made illegal by a man fron Altoona named Harry Anslinger in 1936 for ALL THE WRONG REASONS. The result is this horriable drug war for the whole nation.
Marijuana needs to be fully legalized and regulated just like alcohol and stop this insane drug war!
DOWN INSIDE YOU KNOW THAT'S REALLY THE RIGHT THING TO!"
