Any Reverb.com users here?

Has anyone used Reverb.com as a buyer or seller? If so, was it a good experience? The concept itself is great... An eBay-like site dedicated to musical gear and without the exorbitant eBay fees.

Wasn't hip to it until this thread, Greg. From what I see, prices range from everything to "That's a steal!" to "That's highway robbery!" I'll definitely keep it in mind when trying to satisfy my amp obsession (and my never ending search for a Gibson Studio V Thunderbird 'cause I love my kidneys too much to sell one for a Mike Lull).
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.

As an experiment, I posted some items on Reverb.com at "pretty good deal" prices and the same items on eBay at "eBay is taking a big chunk of this" prices. We'll see which one nets the sale first.

So far, one item sold on Reverb. The items are getting more views on Reverb, more watchers on eBay.

How would you rate your experience with reverb? I am considering selling off some equipment and trying to see which avenue is best

Good experience so far as a buyer and seller. It seems like the number of listings has skyrocketed lately, so people must be catching on. For a thousand dollar sale you'll pocket around $70 more than eBay. Items priced fairly seem to sell quickly. Overpriced stuff sits for months.
