guitar player with limited schedule available
44 yr old guitar player looking for band. My work schedule limits me to where and when I can play, but I am only looking to play 2 times a month. Grew up on hair metal, Ozzy, Dio, Iron Maiden, but like some newer stuff like Godsmack and Shinedown, even some country. I work Fridays til 10 and Sat til 9. So Fridays are pretty much out, and the Saturday dates would have to be very close to Altoona. I wouldn't be able to set up, but will gladly help tear down gear. I am available to play Sun, Mon and Tues nights without restriction. I would like to make a couple bucks playing, but honestly I just want to get out there and play. Have good gear, learn songs fairly quickly. I know a lot of you out there want to play as much as you can, trust me if I could I would be too, but I have a family and they come first, and I'm not changing jobs to be in a band. If this is something that anyone out there would be able to work with pm me here at Rockpage. I look forward to hearing from someone.

Im a 45 yr old drummer & your post sounds exactly like mine! I feel exactly same way!
