Rock singer guitar/bass 30yrs exp looking for band in (Huntingdon/state college)


Hi. As stated I have been playing for 30 years metal/rock/folk what ever.
I can play lead as well as sing lead and backups. Understand theory and music.
I'm looking to fit in with a like minded group in the area near Huntingdon or state college.
Free weekends and Friday nights.
My only real conditions are no drama and I need paid for gigging meaning you are a giging organized band.
I have played 1000's of songs. Mostly real rock or metal oriented.
Don't care much for the pop stuff. Although Neon Trees do some fun stuff and the like.

Bass Player for established working band 70's 80's rock. Styx, Journey, Foghat, Nugent, Boston etc.
Vocals helpful but not necessary. We have our own Professional Pa and light rig so we don't have to pay for production, and we have a road crew, you only have to set up your personal gear. We are way past the "making it in the music business" stage, we have no dreams or aspirations to go "on tour", but, we are looking for someone with a professional attitude and reliable gear. we play 2-3 times a month Saturdays only for the most part. Must be able to rehearse in Lock Haven a 1-2 times a month (non gig weekends only).

Hey thanks for offering dirttrackrocker. I really appreciate you response.
Sounds like it would be a good setup but I'm like an hour and a half away and I'm sure you guys spread out from there even farther.
I just don't feel comfortable driving so far. I'm located in Southern Huntingdon where there doesn't seem to be anything going on.
If ya'll weren't so far I would come check it out. But I would spend any money I would make in gas lol.
