But really in reading the article, Pandora is juts staying the same? Isn't it ASCAP that tried to push the increase? SDo in reality artists will get what they have alwasy gotten.
Nobody is making money from that anyway, ASCAP is an obsolete thought. Unforutnaley there is not really an effective way to monitor and provide payment for usage... I would be interested to hear other thoughts on how ASCAP and BMI could be replaced with a mechanism that could provide "royalties" to artists... Paul?

I'm not really sure. My guitarist is an ASCAP member and is fairly tied into a lot of the songwriting workshops and such in Nashville. I'll ask him about it tonight or tomorrow.tornandfrayed wrote:
