WHo wants to play some punk rock/ old school style hardcore?

Post by DirtySanchez »

Influences are Anything from Agnostic Front to Zeke. I do not really care how well you play the 3-4 chords as long as you can play them fast. If your dreams are of a world tour, playing arena's, and slaying tons of sluts, please just stay in your moms basement and play your xbox. If ya wanna play some local shows, hang out and jam 1-2 times a week and play some fun, fast punk rock ( originals peppered with some covers) Then get at me. I will do the singing, screaming, grunts, wheezes, whistling and any other such vocalizations. I can also hum and play a mean motherfucking Kazoo. I have some experience with a flute-like instrument known as a recorder, but just as I was really getting good, my four year old got mad because I wasn't sharing, and broke it. Just need Guitar, Bass, and drums. Let's make some noise!!!!

pm me here or just reply to the thread if interested.

Brian

Brian,

Depending on where practice place would be and if you would consider widening your ad up a bit on music I would be interested. I think u are one hell of a frontman. I heard you in a metal/punk context and I thought u were great.

Chad,

Thanks. I am definitely flexible on the range of music. Just wanna do something with some energy. I would love to jam with you. I think we would mesh together well. As far as a practice place. It would be in Altoona, if at my house, but I am flexible there as well.

I recently got back into jamming on some old school punk with my buddies from the Insignificant. My goodness has it been fun and liberating.

Good to have you back on the 'page, Sanchez!

Here's a punk concept I've been tossing around. Anyone who wants to chime in, let me know if it sucks or not. The idea would be to do punky covers of classic blues tunes and bluesy covers of classic punk tunes. Meet halfway and try to make it all sound like it belongs together. Can Muddy Waters co-exist with Jello Biafra? Hell if I know.

Not exactly what you described, but you might find them interesting.
