thats because the Grammy's is a popularity contest for pop musicians anymore. It has been for a long time. Once in a while a good group manages to squeak in and get a grammy or at least a nomination, but generally, it's just a bunch of rich famous douchebags who pretend to be "musicians" (obviously not including those few decent acts that I mentioned above) wanking off in each others faces. It's at about the same relevance as the MTV VMA's as far as Im' concerned...which is to say, bottom of the barrel. But then I detest most award shows....as if you couldn't telll...lmao.

Totally agree. I think of all the time, money, and effort that go into those things and it boils my blood. I'd like to see someone, ANYONE melt down their award and donate it.

I love the Grammys.Can't wait for the Taylor Swift channel.Hopefully Ed Vedder will be the host.
