want to buy bass amp

Post by ZappasXWife »

I am looking for a bass amp for my son for christmas. He is just a casual player, nothing fancy, currently not playing out so just something for him to mess around with at home. Music Emporium has a Fender 'Rumbler' for 180.00 which I may get because I only want to spend ~ 200.00 but thought maybe someone here wanted to unload something better? Obviously we are not talking serious equipment here haha.

i have a thumping behringer combo with 2 10's.. used but works perfect. it is heavy but would be great to play out or practice with a loud drummer. 110.00 dollars is all. also a small peavey bass amp for practice only for 30.00

If that fender is the rumble 30 its a fantastic little amp. If its the one with the smooth sids, the carpeted one is the older model and nowhere near the same quality. If its this one its the one im talking about being decent.

It has good tone, gets plenty loud for home practice and has a nice built in diatortion. It also has input for mp3 player etc.
Not saying what you should buy, just letting you know that the fender is a decent amp for the $$$
