I've been working on that upright for a while now, but I still have a long way to go. I started working it in to Still-water's set list when we were putting the band back together, but that fell through and now I'm working out with a drummer and guitar player on a lot of 50s music. It's a hell of a workout for an electric bass player!

A Friend of mine played with Bob Wayne and the outlaw carnies and now plays with Jayke Orvis and the broken band. He tried to show me how to play Upright and I cant figure it out. He has only been playin it for like 5 -6 years and he is F##ckin Amazing. That's a great thing to have.

All kidding aside, Rik's a good guy, with a good set of ears. I've heard some of the recordings that came out of there...pretty impressive. He's got my stamp of approval.
