I remember being stationed at WTB, Quantico, VA in the early eighties. I was at work listening to the local radio station, DC101, and the DJ saying that he was at a club the night before checking out a local band. Rory Gallagher and his band came in after a gig, were asked to set in and proceeded to set the place on fire! The video link is a testament to their energy.

I had the pleasure of seeing Rory Gallagher and his band live promoting their "Against The Grain" album. They were the middle act on a 3 band bill at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh with Ace and Foghat on their Fool For The City tour. We were sitting way up in peanut heaven but the show was great. All three bands delivered outstanding performances and I remember Rory and his band rocking the place.
