two thosand people attended white shadow family concert

thanks to rockpage and other advertising outlets we were able to attract two thousand people to our free concert and beach party at glendale lake on the 4th. as bassist says we are shameless self promoters and as he agrees it helps. what we call the white shadow family provided the music which ranged from 50's to elvis early 60's beatle tribute country and classic 70's. the group included andy rhody bob helbig harry young johann von schrenkel and myself. we played 6 hours straight but was really easy with such a great crowd and their reaction to the tunes. we also were able to raise a bunch of money for the patton library. not an easy thing to do when admission is free. the musicians were also all paid what they normally make for gig. the glendale rangers had a car counter that puts the crowd at over 1600 and as many as 400 came ashore from their boats and kayaks. that was a neat experience. thanks again to rockpage and the many musicians who were in the audience because of it.
