Gibraltar Stealth mini-rack

Post by Craven Sound »

I'm trying to get some opinions of the Stealth side racks from Gibraltar. I really like the amount of stuff it cuts down on, and if I go to a two-up, one-down set up, It would make it really easy. It seems that they've been out for a few years, but I just recently started at hardware. Thanks!

Mike

I've always been an advocate of racks, the bigger the better...

Wait...

Huh?

Oh...DRUM racks!

Okay, that was lame. But in all seriousness, I've used a Gibraltar rack system for years, and will never ever go back to stands. There's no mucking about trying to remember how you set your kit up, no trying to re-fit stands in the same place where they fit last time but do not fit this time. Everything is the same, every single time.

Plus, as you get older (like me), you save major amounts of weight in hardware. Right now with my current cymbal setup (4 crashes, 2 china splashes, ride, and a chinese), I'm saving roughly about 50 pounds of weight in my hardware bag. And believe me, my 43 year old back is thanking me every single load-in and load-out.

I believe that Randy Willson of Ganister (RP Username: SATAN) has some of the Stealth stuff from Gibraltar. He'd be the cat to get with on the pros and cons of that specific product line.
Dood...
