Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the January 1 edition of Rocky 104.9 and Rocky 99's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 9 to 11 PM during Steelers football season on WRKY-FM (www.rocky1049.com) and WRKW-FM (www.rocky99.com).

Happy New Year! We kicked off New Year 2012 by beginning to close the door on the year just completed with Part 1 of our 2011 Year In Review Special! We started with January, and recapped the area music news, happenings, shows, band personnel moves and other activities that shaped the area music scene through the first half of 2011. And along the way, we heard music from some of the bands and musicians that impacted the area music scene during the past year.
