I already have over 75 hours in the game. Beautiful. A few minor annoyances here and there, but overall a 9.5 out of 10. Colton, shoot me your PS3 id, I'll friend you and send you some GT5 cars if ya need. I have over 200 in the ol' garage.

Its ok dude, not everyone is a gamer.
Im not able to be very social, nor do care to be....so when alone, I can either jerk off, play games, game & jerk together, or sleep.
I dont wanna get married, or be an alcoholic....so what else am I to do?
No, Jeff. It's a single player open world RPG that a gamer can easily spend over 500 hours exploring and playing and never do the same thing twice. It's the latest title in the Elder Scrolls series from Bethesda Software. The series has taken home quite a few awards at the E3 convention over the years.
I spent about 150 hours on the original Fallout 3 (same developer, similar engine), but could never get into the last Elder Scrolls. I'm going to give this new one a shot, though, it looks awesome.
Would you be able to pick up and play it if you haven't played the other Elder Scrolls games. It looks interesting and I'd like to give it a try but I've never played any other games in the series so I'm a little worried I'd be out in right field.
There is a bit of a learning curve, lots more to do on this one, from crafting your own weapons and armor to getting married to skill leveling, but if you are patient and keep the manual handy, you will be rewarded.
It's like crack. Skyrim is addictive, it's like "playing" a really good novel, but you make the choices of what you wanna do. More addictive than Oblivion or Fallout 3.
I NEED to pick this up. I'm heavily invested in Dead Island right now, but I think this will be the next one. I didn't play Oblivion much, but Morrowind CONSUMED me for the better part of 6-8 months. It was pretty scary. Skyrim looks amazing.
Do it, Jason. DO IT. It is f-ing amazing. It's WAY bigger than Oblivion or Morrowind (I believe 10x bigger than Oblivion was the statement from Bethesda) and they have refined the game so much, it's amazing. There is so much to do it almost overwhelms you. Graphics (at least for PS3) are AMAZING. GET IT.
i have dead island... i can play it for about 10 min before i get tired of it for some reason and pop in borderlands... i prefer my zombie killin with a little more just plain spray'n'pray like left4dead or dead nation (woo free downloads).
Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.
I really like Dead Island, the only problem is that the game is laden with glitches. They rushed it and released it too soon. Twice now I have been over 60 hours into the game only to have my save file corrupted. At other times, items will just disappear from the inventory for no reason. Sometimes the controls malfunction too, like you'll hit a button and some random other function will occur. From looking online, lots of other people have had similar problems. The thing that sucks is once you get into it a bit, it's a really cool game. I guess that's why I keep starting over whenever something happens.
I will definitely check out Skyrim...I don't think I can let this one pass me by.
