I sell alot of guitars. But for me, this is my number 1. I got rid of it before, and was extremely happy to be able to get it back. Alot of people make the same mistake and don't have the same chance. Now, it will never ever leave again. This is my number 1. It is a 1991 Ibanez RG 565. I'm pretty sure that whoever had this guitar before me may have used it to shovel snow, and maybe even used it to sled ride on for a few years before I got it because it is beat up and ugly as hell. But man, I love this guitar. I've touched quite a few....but this one does it for me. Let's see yours?

2006 MIM Strat - Installed Texas Specials Pickups, Black Pickup Covers and Knobs, Black Pickgaurd Screws and the decal. I never expected to like this guitar - and i freakin fell in love with it. its definitely my number 1 and will be for years

2000 Carvin LB75 - Please ignore the goofy look on my face. I tried to take a cell photo of this but it was turning out crapola, so I used a recent gig shot. This has been my number one for almost six years. It's played a ton of shows and has the character marks as a result - you really can't tell from the photo, but one look at the bridge in person shows that this bass has some road miles on it. It sounds great in any room and through any amp. Sound guys seem to dig it, and I've had fellow bass players offer to buy it after playing it once. Not trying to brag - I just really dig this bass. It has a persnickity neck though (as Carvins from that time period all seem to have); I need to do a trussrod adjustment anytime the climate experiences a major change.

...My Carvin Icon is sitting on the stand in the background - another great, albeit different sounding and playing, instrument.

No, I got it around 1992. It's been totally "Bastardized". The "Double Annies" only came in sunburst and smoked green so somebody changed the color. I got it with Carvin pick-ups in it so I installed 1992 Gretsch Filltertrons. It also had the "zero fret" removed and a brass nut added and I also put on a new bridge. The switches, pots, and Bigsby are original. It does sound "Gretschy".

At any given time, it can be any one of these. Lately its been the KL1812 on the right, but I've been using the Mira Korina Dragon in the middle too. I'd use the Custom 24 on the left a lot more if it didn't have the wanker yanker bridge.

Yeah, not about to let the string players have all the fun!!

My Yamaha Stage Customs, with Gibraltar Hardware and Saluda Cymbals. Pic was obviously taken back when I was with Scream. I don't play the whole kit out anymore, just use a 5-piece in a one-up-two down configuration with a single kick.

Thanks Toona. The color is called Laser Ivory. It is a Lacquar finish, I discribe the color as a bone white with a rainbow metal flake. It really looks good under the stage lites. This set is my one and only brand new set. I bought it new in 2005. The set is a 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and a 22 kick.

You know I like that kit, ToonaRock. Just enough thunder, tasteful without being overbearing, and you have one crash, the one at your 11 o'clock, that, for some reason, has this nice shimmery sound that pleases my ear.
Lonewolf, we may disagree politically, but you are very good at picking gear. The PRS on the left is my kind of guitar.

Thanks, Johnny. That cymbal that you're describing is my main crash, an 18" Saluda Diamond Series Medium Brilliant crash. Unfortunately, I've had to retire it after playing it hard for almost six years, as I discovered an inch-long crack in it. Noticed it at the last show I played with NailDriver (the Coinmonster show) and have been bummed ever since. However, the good news is that I am sending it back to Saluda and the owner/master cymbalsmith Jamie Lambert is going to re-create it for me in a new cymbal. He has a folder with notes from all my custom cymbals, and soundfiles of what the original sounded like. When I get the new one, it'll take about 6 months for the sound to settle in and the cymbal to "sweeten", but it will sound just like the old one.
