Either way, it's a Reductio ad Hitlerum argument, which are usually formulated by those who generally can't actually debate for shit in the first place.RobTheDrummer wrote:You know what, he didn't compare him to Hitler anyway. He just made an analogy.
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.
Impeachment hearing are being looked into over this.RobTheDrummer wrote:Obama just killed an American citizen with no due process. Look at this double standard.....Bush has been called Hitler and many many death threats have been ignored over the years. However, just a couple threats to Obama and you will be arrested.

Where are these same people, when Obama is still killing people?

Personally, I don't think he was comparing Obama to Hitler. I heard the interview, and he wasn't making a comparison. Williams, Jr is still an idiot, though. Sadly, some of his fans probably look to him for political advice.
On another note, this "reporter" didn't lose her job until after she attacked a Tea Party protestor.

Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.
Why does every END OF THE WORLD movie, Deep Impact, 2012, have a black President?
As far as music and freedom of speech on a national stage who the hell cares what Hank Jr. says anyway?
Obama , not my pick personally, but Hank probably freebased somebodys poop at one point in his life just to say " it tasted like shit"
My point is I enjoyed the " Are you ready for some football" now what do we get? The Blacked eyed peas, Lady GAGA, God help us Creed?

For real, an Al Qaeda leader? Compared to Bush's responsibility for thousands of American troops' deaths in a completely wrong and avoidable war. You sound like one of those piece of shit conservatives. Oh that's right, you are.RobTheDrummer wrote:Obama just killed an American citizen with no due process. "The comments once again put Paul at odds with his Republican rivals over foreign policy and the war on terror in the latest indication of how his foreign policy views stray far from Republican orthodoxy even in a GOP that’s taken on an increasingly isolationist bent. Candidates like Michele Bachmann and Mitt Romney — who included the president in a list of people he commended in a statement released Friday — have generally been supportive of the killing. No one else in the field has spoken out against it."undercoverjoe wrote:Impeachment hearing are being looked into over this.RobTheDrummer wrote:Obama just killed an American citizen with no due process. Even Bachmann likes it, and she's nuts.
My how the conservatives have flip-flopped. Had this happened under G-Dub, it would have been a huge victory... because then, we were AT WAR, and terrorists were the enemy. Now that Big Bad O is President of the United States of America, it's "grounds for impeachment."
Not long ago, the talkshows were criticizing Big Bad O for wanting to try terrorists in NYC in criminal court, now they criticize him for denying a known and admitted terrorist due process.
A flip. Then a flop. Then a flip...

Still waiting for examples to back up your statement.Hawk wrote:Hawk wrote:Politics are in another section.RobTheDrummer wrote:I like how the left wingers always called Bush "Hitler" but there were no repercussions ever for that.
However, show me one professional announcer or main stream media person who called Bush Hitler and kept his job.

Rob ? What the hell is that ?
In link #1 no one called Bush Hitler.
In link #2 no one called Bush Hitler. Someone named Clemens said that the atmosphere in America (at the beginning of the Iraq war) was like pre war era Nazi Germany. When ask later if he was comparing Bush to Hitler he said, "No", then he quipped "Hitler is smarter than Bush". At no time did any of these people call GW Bush Hitler.
So if Clemens remark is the best you can do...keep trying.

Exactly. I didn't call the Braintrust retarded, I said explaining why they are the way they are is LIKE trying to a mentally-cahllenged person what being mentally-challeged means. If they could understand, they wouldn't be mentally-challenged.RobTheDrummer wrote:Hank didn't call Obama Hitler.

And Joe's masturbatory fantasy of an Obama impeachment (via Ron Paul's fantasy) is a dead-end. Do right-wingers LIKE terrorists now? Do you hate Big Bad O SOOOOOO much that terrorists now have rights? This PROVES that the far-right does NOT care about the things they say they do, they only want CONTROL. Stop following talkshow-hosts like they're "experts." Choose a side and stick with it, regardless of who the President of the United States of America is.
American citizens do. They have the right not to be assassinated without being charged with a crime, judged and sentenced without due process. Who else can B. Hussein order killed? Where in the Constitution did he get this new power?songsmith wrote: terrorists now have rights?
Is there any violation of the Constitution that you Hussein worshipers will balk at?
