Where do you miss playing the most?

It is different for me because I moved out of the area, and started after places like Peter Cs closed, but I think the two places I miss the most are Burgi's (drew pretty good there) and Glenn's Place (played there once, but drew a ton from my recollection).

Peter C's, hands down. It's not even close. Other bar on the list would be The Hitching Post.

I miss Peter C's something fierce. What a cool bar....and John would give ANYBODY a shot. The Grimm always considered it to be our "home" bar....thanks for the memories, Big J!

I'm going to go way back for this place. The Candlelight (then, it was LaRitz) in Ebensburg. Great place, great crowds, great pay, and one of the best club owners I have ever worked with.

William Penn Inn, Peter C's, Hill Valley Hotel, 218 Club in Williamsport, Allegheny House, Old Sab's, Marysville Lions near Mechanicsburg, Swizzle's, Fiddlestyx in Milton, Carlsbad Tavern near Bellefonte, The Ranch House, The Empire Rock Room in Philly, Club Eldorado in Greensburg, Ye Olde Barn near Raystown Lake, The Metron, The Bebop in Wilkes-Barre, Last Cowboy, many more. And those are just the bar gigs.

Gotta second The William Penn Inn and The Ranch (?) in Howard Pa. Both of these because we always went early to watch the strippers..Never had many dollars left when we played there!

Yeah, I agree. I remember playing there in a band called "Orange Fire" when I was 18 yrs. old. My Mom & Dad came to see me. I didn't know that they were there & was busted smoking! Very nice place & alot of room...I don't remember getting great pay though...haha

Hill Valley Hotel, The Beirhaus in Lewistown, and Definitely The William Penn Inn, that place had the Strippers with TB, you know, three bellies!

Hands down Peter C's. Big John gave us a chance when not many other places were willing to 'roll the dice' on us. Without Peter C's I'm not sure we could have done 1/2 the stuff we got to do. And I'm forever thankful for that.

One other place I would have liked to play again is Harpo's in Detroit. We only got to play there once but that place is frikkin HUGE...and holds a rediculous amount of people!!! That and we scored 30 free burgers from White Castle. No peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for us that day!

Dude! Love Harpo's. Growing up 30 minutes from Detroit, I saw many a show there, ranging from Detroit acts like Alice Cooper, Nugent, MC5, The Romantics and Mitch Ryder, to a few nationals like Eddie Money, ZZ Top, and Toto. WRIF was always there doing live broadcasts. That place was the mecca of Detroit clubs, and your band wasn't successful until you played there. Great memories, Steve.

There's a couple others like "The Phantom" I think it was called....in Cleveland. Big-ass theater and again an obscene amount of people. "Alrosa Villa" in Columbus because of the nostalgia of Dimebag's murder. Oh yeah and the Bunker Inn in Bedford because you haven't seen anything until you see the look on 50 people expecting to hear some good ole boy country music....and your opening song is Refuse/Resist by Sepultura!! Even the crickets went silent.....AWKWARD!

HAHA I love that feeling! You have a friend in the car who doesn't like the heavier stuff, then you play a song with an absolutely beautiful acoustic guitar or piano part, they compliment how great it sounds, then it goes into the full band!
