You beat me to it, Duaine!

Although I'm not familiar with much of her music, I've heard plenty about her story and misadventures. Sad, but perhaps not surprising.

Don't understand how people think that they can continue to abuse themselves with drinking and drugging without any consequences!!!
Strange though, how many musicial artists have died at age 27!
Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain-----

Yeah, but this is one of those cases where you could almost see it coming. I never knew much about her, other than that she talks about whatever, and then has had problems. They caught up to her a lot quicker than I figured, but it was still inevitable

There must be something about the age 27. Here are some prominent musical artists who all died at that age, way before their time. That is very sad indeed.

Janis Joplin
Jimi Hendrix
Jim Morrison - Doors
Kurt Cobain - Nirvana
Robert Johnson
Brian Jones - The Rolling Stones
Pete Ham - Badfinger
Chris Bell - Big Star
Dennes Boon - Minutemen
Les Harvey - Stone The Crows
Helmut Koellen - Triumvirat
Jimmy McCulloch - Wings
Ron 'Pigpen' McKernan - Grateful Dead
Gary Thain - Uriah Heep
Jason Thirsk - Pennywise
Al Wilson - Canned Heat

27 seems to be the age that they die.

I knew when I turned 28 that I was only going to be a so-so musician. Fading away instead of burning out has it's advantages I guess :P

This is a little off of the subject, but Hendrix's mom died at age 27 also!
Another tragedy is the number of musicians who have died in flying incidents---
Otis Redding
Patsy Cline
Jim Croce
Ricky Nelson
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Richie Valens
Buddy Holly
The Big Bopper
John Denver
Ronnie Van Zant
Steve and Cassie Gaines
Possibly, Glenn Miller

Kinda creepy---feel free to add to the list!

Randy Rhoads... yeah the 27 thing is weird, I guess going down to the crossroads maybe is true.

Winehouse will be more respected and popular in her death than she's been for the last few years.

Don't want to seem ignorant toward the dead, and RIP to both, but in about 5-10 years, someone will have another top 100 list of all time and she'll probably outrank most of the better bands and groups because she's dead. Just like Nirvana and Kurt Cobain.

Want to know how I feel about this...HAHAHAHAHAH...dumb ass! We all know that drugs are bad and we all know that you can get hooked on certain drugs the very first time and we all know that NOTHING good will ever come from doing drugs in the long run...so with that said...HAHAHAHAHA...this is to you for being dumb! What is the appeal of even trying this shit when we all know the eventual outcome??? Sorry if this offends anyone, but I'm so sick and tired of people dying because of their own stupidity and then people making them out to be "god like" and praising their life's work.
