Losing a practice space is frustrating!!!

I've been playing with a great group of guys with the same goal (which in itself is almost impossible) and things have been going great...until I got into an argument with the person that owns the space. We packed up our shit and got out, but finding another place is becoming hard to do. I heard of folks using storage rental facilities for practice space; anyone else tried this? Any other ideas to look at?
