The Killer Boots (Matt Wagner, Joe Scott, Manny Barbazzeni) continues our search for a quality bass player. We play everything from Rage to Dave Matthews Band to Taio Cruz to some classic rock tunes. We aren't metal, country, or 80s rock based, but a couple of each might be in our setlist. We are eclectic and like to have fun on stage, especially redoing songs that other bands aren't doing. We'd like to play between 3-6 shows per month - weekend warriors. Our ages range from 28-30, so we'd like someone relatively close to these.
If you're interested in jamming, please me know as soon as possible. Two of us live in Altoona, and the drummer is in Dubois. If you are in the area, we will be playing at the Pony Lounge on July 2nd and opening for The Clarks on July 10th at Music Fest at the Treasure Lake Ski Lodge.
Bass players seem to be difficult to find in this area, but we're optimistic we can find someone. Ability to sing is a plus, but not necessary.

We still need a bass player... but based on the above threads, so do a lot of people. 90s rock/acoustic rock feel with the band... not metal or country. Anyone interested?
I'm a 23 year old bass player, what're you lookin at as far as experience? I've only been playing bass less than 2 years, and I'm very eclectic with the types of music that i enjoy/enjoy playing. I'm from Altoona..I thought bass players were like guitar players, thought they were commmon, guess I was wrong. I was in a band for about 9 months, and had a few small gigs, mostly private parties. Mind posting or pm'ing some songs you guys like to do?
