I got an email from our bass player that he found a wireless for sale 185 hz , my wife ( our singer ) uses a 190 hz mic , are they too close or will they work?
So long as they are different channels, it should work, right?

If either of the transmitters have been abused, or are old, they will shift frequency, and may interfere. Your best bet is to take them to the practice room and run them simultaneously; this will probably be the smallest room you will use them in, and if they work there, they'll work anywhere. Plus, 5mhz is a pretty big gap for FM transmission. Your car radio's separation is even less.
