Einstein was right again! Space-Time vortex...

Post by KeithReynolds »

AWESOME!!!
Exactly what he said about gravity, is correct.

I dont know if anyone is interested in this kind of thing, but I sure am. I watch alot of the Universe shows on tv, and always do research online for millions of things. I love learning about things like this.
ANYWAY, Its pretty badass, and opens up all sorts of new things we will be able to do research on. We are slowly unlocking the secrets of the universe.

Time travel is gonna happen! We will learn how to manipulate Space-Time. :)

Apparently this topic is slightly above the capacity of most people's comprehension.

Anyone have anything to say about the topic besides political time travel? haha.
I think the fact that Space-Time being ONE force is pretty amazing.

Quantum Physics is always an interesting topic, Black Holes, etc.
I have learned a little about Einstein's theory, but even he got to the point of the unexplained calling it "spooky science". Man just isn't there yet - well except for Steven Hawking and a few others. I personally don't have the attention span to read "A Brief History of Time" but know those who have and am lucky enought o learn a few things vicariously. But even they don't grasp all of his theories.
Thanks for the link, I'll read it and maybe comment after...

I guess it is a totally boring topic for those that arent into this kind of thing. Im just a nerd, i know.

At one point, I wanted to be an astronaut when I was younger. I still look at hi-res pictures of this universe and wonder what it would be like to see something like that up close.
The secrets of the universe are very fascinating to me.

Im gonna check out that book, Chicksinga!

Really cool thread (other than the political bullshit). The powers of the universe and science has always been an interest of mine.

Well I mean c'mon. I could start a thread about breasts or football, and somewhere along the line the words... Obama, right winger, or libertarian will magically surface.

if Jason Statham is busy we can send Arnold Shwarzenegger as the terminator.

"Come with me if you want to live" - terminator

"But my destiny is to die for all man's sins" - Jesus

"Hasta la vista, baby" - terminator

To get back to the original subject, Keith, I read the site. I'm in engineering and admittedly 1/2 geek so of course the first thing that intrigued me was the tolerance level of the gyroscopes that where used. That stuff boggles my mind just as much as space.

I'm also privy to conspiracy forensics as of late so I look at this with some trepidation, being that it's from the government. All in all I think science is probably quite a bit further, but they release info in increments of what our little minds can grasp. And that's probably a good thing.

Thanks for sharing a cool site...

Nah, I'm grinning because I got the shiz for political stuff, then when I dutifully gave it up, the complainers... posted political stuff! Apparently, it's not politics that bothers people, it's other people's politics. They can't have someone pointing to chinks in the armor. Bad news... I'm going to keep doing it. I've only ever posted 2 political threads in 10 years... I simply react to others', which should be okay in a free country. Don't like it? Don't pour such a big bowl of partisan Cheerios, and I won't piss in 'em. I didn't start political posts, and I won't let Teabaggery go unanswered, so deal.
Also for the record: Political posts have been out of fashion pretty much all winter, and Rockpage dwindled to a few posts per day. Look at the hit-counts now.

i lived most of my life in a time-space vortex in an alternate universe..

We want our sound to go into the soul of the audience, and see if it can awaken some little thing in their minds... Cause there are so many sleeping people.

I have some conservative leanings. I just don't like the conservative corprorate media, and how a certain type of person believes it like the Bible, and expects me to abide by it, too. Not gonna happen. You can try to force it with religion tie-ins (can't be a Christian, and still want to take Granny's check from her), patriotic tie-ins (no, you don't love your country any more than I do), Constitutional tie-ins (conservatives do NOT own the Constitution), social tie-ins (no, you don't control women's bodies), capitalist tie-ins (no, corporations do not want what's best, only what's profitable), racial tie-ins (no, all brown people are not illegal or immoral), or any other of the Hard-right's control tactics. I question ALL authority, especially when it profits someone, and when it's being exercised on me.
Here are some of my rightist leanings:
I don't believe George Bush or his admin perpetrated 9/11. I think the planet may be heating up a little, but I don't think it's a catastrophe, or that we did it. I have a gun, and fully support hunting. I believe the USA is the most successful entity on the planet because Americans have a special culture that combines resourcefulness with focused hard work. I think practicality wins over style every single time. I love the outdoors, and it's beauties and complexities. I believe in dirty hands and plowed fields. If you hurt my family, I may kill you, so don't. I don't think being a minority entitles you to anything more than basic respect, from there you have to earn it, same as everyone else. I like pickups, love American music best, and wear something camo almost all the time. I pumped my fist in the air when we got the Quecreek miners out, when we killed the Somalian pirates, and when bin Laden was shot dead.
See, we have some stuff in common. If anyone paid any attention at all, they'd see that I rail against corporate abuses, class warfare, and rightwing "authority" pretty much exclusively. Will I now take a softer, more tolerant stance in deference to my friends and peers here?

Nope.

How, exactly, are you getting "hate" from his posts? Just curious.
