What a crazy night...

Post by Mysterytrain »

Our band would like to send a special thank you to Peach and also Vinny and Jim of Danger Kitty for sitting in on the second set at Shaws on Saturday.

We started out knowing Gina (keyboard) wouldn't be playing this show. Unfortunately, right before we started, Natellie (bass players girlfriend) had a serious medical issue. Kev left in the ambulance with his girlfriend.

So, blending my guitar with a bass guitar on my synth we played the first set as a 3 piece.

FIRST SET: (non-stop)
Me and my uncle>
Going down the road feeling bad>
Cold rain and snow>
Folsom Prison>
Deep elem blues>
I know you rider>
Loser>
Jam>
Drums>
Space>
Ashes in my glass>
Jam>
Franklin's Tower

Then... Second set... with our friend Peach on acoustic guitar and members of Danger Kitty stepping in... Vinny joined in on bass on a few songs followed by Jim for several tunes.

SECOND SET:
Sweet baby's arm's>
Growing marijuana in my yard>
Sweet baby's arms
Catfish John>
Stealin'
Maggies Farm
Fire on the mountain
Tangled up in blue>
Cotton Fields
Little Sadie>
Jam
Big Railroad Blues
Bob Dylan's 115th dream
Me and Julio

With the help of friends (old and new) we managed to pull off a pretty good show for a nice size crowd. We'd also like to thank Shaws Bar for their support through this crazy evening. Finally, our thoughts and prayers go out to Natallie and hope for a speedy recovery.
Keep on keepin' on,
Dan
