Wow, talk about going out with a bang. He's either tweaked or just completely manic. I'm starting to feel like something bad is going to happen with this guy. The TV show is still lucrative, but it's been dead entertainment-wise since the kid's voice changed, they're just going through the motions. His love life is pretty much over. They took his kids. He looks like he's been in a Turkish prison for a decade or so. His job didn't just fire him, they cancelled the rest of the season. Platoon was 25 years ago, and America needs something to take their minds off how bad everything sucks. Remember Britney?
He's doomed, I tell ya!
On the other hand, I now like James Franco. The fact that he was a "failure" at hosting perhaps the most pretentious event in all of humanity gives him many cool-points. Plus, he's going for a doctorate in English, and teaching at another college. And he was doing a soap opera when he filmed 127 hours. Dude's got hustle.

Thank Youshredder138 wrote:F. you're a freakin douche. Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.

Note: The above is just my opinion, please take it as such.

Music Rocks!
Either he's crazy, or crazy like a fox...
I heard somebody on the radio say that he just joined Twitter this week and already had 500,000 followers within 12 hours. By comparison, it took Tiger Woods a lot longer (I think the radio guy said 2 months, something like that). Sheen - crazy or not - is a hot commodity right now, and whether he intended it or not, everybody is talking about him. If nobody was paying attention to him before, they are now.

New record for Twitter. Over a million new followers in 25 hours. And he gets PAID for that, once you hit a certain number, they sell ads for the page margins and pay you from that revenue.
Remember that kid in the Youtube vid where he was in his car seats asking, "Is this real life?" after being doped up for a dentist appt? His college is paid for now, no kidding, I saw his dad in an interview.
Maybe you're right JP, Sheen won't be making millions an episode, but he won't be broke, either.

Well, they said it before, but there's no such thing as bad publicity. Sheen is the current premier example of this. I've always known the guy was certifiable (look at all his old comedies). He's clearly shot up too many times (or snorted, or smoked the wrong things, or whatever). So what. We won't hear about rehab for another couple years or so. But the guy is funny! He's so totally outlandish that it's like watching a cartoon character! In effect, I just see a guy with an ego problem, a drug problem, and a lot of emotional baggage, all of which keep the guy spitfiring at everything. The spitfire image is entertaining in this guy's case, so let him go. He's had about 13mins at this point, so just give him his other 2 and let him bow out his own way

I think Warner Brothers should hire Charlie's brother Emilio Estevez to replace him on Two & A Half Men.
For those who don't know, Charlie's real name is Carlos Estevez. He took the stage name Sheen from his father, Martin Sheen (whose real name is Ramón Gerardo Antonio Estévez). Martin's father was from Spain and his mother from Ireland.

How do you think Mr. 'Battle Tested Bayonets' would feel if he heard you say that? What about his feelings?

He has feelings somewhere...under layers of coke and whiskey....beyond whatever STD he got from whatever pornstar he peed on the night before.
