anybody know how?

Post by orangespade10 »

Ok, I'm lost and could really use some advice/suggestions. I have a Boss BR-532 digital recorder with a song on it that i'd like to upload to my pc/put on a disc. The problem I'm having is...there are 3 ways (at least this is what I'm thinking) to transfer the song: 1) using the optical out from the recorder...however my pc has no optical inputs 2) the SmartMedia Card (no it is NOT an SD card...its about 2x the size of an sd card) supplied with the recorder...I've tried using a smart card reader but apparently this card is not compatible with any reader I can find and finally 3) the line out (rca connections) to my mic in on the pc...this doesn't even put out any audio. If anyone has an idea ppppppplllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssse......help?

Im not familiar with that unit, but what I can suggest is to go to the BOSS forum and as them. They would be able to help you right away im sure.

You need their software on your PC to read the smartmedia and transfer the wav. Here is their product page. Click on the support tab and you will see all the documents, including their wav converter software.
