if you go on the website of the artist they will usually say who endorses them. the individual artist website may have their gear also, maybe even get into how they set it up, settings, etc.

Don't forget www.guitargeek.com, which has great illustrations of players' rigs broken down by signal chain. I always try to avoid spending too much time there, because I start getting crazy ideas about sending three bass signals to the board and costing out a Bradshaw system with multiple amps. Then usually somebody slaps me back into reality.
