FS: Basses and Combo Amp

Post by bassist_25 »

Here are a few things I have for sale that I'm not really using any more.

First, a Dean Edge 10x. This thing is really cool. It's a dual-course 10 string bass. It works on the same principle as a 12 string guitar with each set of strings tuned an octave apart (but you can tune the strings to 3rds, 5ths, or whatever interval suits your fancy for some cool and original stuff). You should be able to put together a set of strings for this on Juststrings.com. Also, I believe S.I.T. will hook you up with a set of strings if you contact them. Rock your Cheap Trick covers in style or write some cool, original music.

-Two Band EQ, passive pickups
-Oil Finish
-Strings are about middle-age in their life
-Excellent shape: I'd give it a 9.9
-Comes with hardshell case
-Original owner lost the truss-road cover, but the headstock is painted black and it's not noticable if you don't want to replace it
-Black straplocks already installed

$375

Next, a Squier Jazz five-string. I always wanted to drop a different set of electronics in this, but never got around to it. I really don't play it anymore, and I already have a modern Jazz-styled copy that I dig. Don't let the Squier name fool you. This is a new generation Squier and is a pro, giggable bass, through and through.

-Pretty much mint except a small chip on the headstock
-Standard string spacing, so if you like wide spacing, this bass is for you
-Three band EQ, passive pickups
-Sorry, this one doesn't come with a case
-Very modern, fat Jazz Bass tone, would be great for modern rock, urban gospel, and modern country

$200

I don't have any pics of it on a stand, so here's an action shot from a gig. It's a sweet looking bass.

And finally, a Crate BFX100 combo amp. Again, this is another piece of gear I don't think I'll use much anymore.

-100 watts, solid state
-Tube emulator
-Built in effects, which are actually pretty good
-9 band graphic EQ
-Good shape, some scraping on the bottom of the cab, missing a knob, but pot is still functional,
-Comes with very nice cover
-Excellent casters installed
-1x15 speaker arrangement

$200

Sorry, I don't have any pics of this.

Bump

Would also be interested in some trades, including:

-Electroharmonix POG or Micro-POG
-Higher end bass chorus (e.g., Carl Martin, EBS, etc.)
-Aguilar Agro
-SansAmp VT Bass Deluxe
-Aguilar GS112
-Hartke HyDrive HX410
-Hartke HyDrive HX112

Some of these things would be worth more than the equipment I have listed, and some of them would be worth less. If you're interested in a trade, we can work out the cash differential. :)
