Second Hand Stores
I need the names of any second hand stores in the Tyrone-Altoona area. Some jackass deceided to steal my father-in-laws video cam. Thought the least I could do would be to check around. It's a long shot but it's worth a try. I'm sure it has been liqiudated into meth or h by now...Thanks.

Yeah. There's a place down from VJ's that's a block away. VJ's and this other place are both down from CohBr's, and Crazy Hazy's (which is where most stuff ends up at) is down between the Savlation Army and the Cantina. Otherwise, I can't think of any off-hand, but I know there are a couple more in the area

If anyone sees 2 Audiobooks (excellent condition),one by Maarten Troost and one by Mackenzie Phillips with Altoona Library stickers on it at these places (I will be looking too) please PM me. Stolen from my car last night. This will be a huge fine. Losers...they needed Audiobooks cause they can't read?

A few years ago I had a ton of stuff stolen out of my truck... found my guitar on ebay....broke up a heroin ring...Logan Township police took all the the credit.... My point is the fuzz don't give a crap so stay vigilent... I did see a camcorder on craigslist its under electronics
If Freedom is not free then I will use my credit card.

'cause it's too much like work.
I could never understand thievery, either. Guess it's a matter of respect. Then again, when you're strung out and all you can think of is your next fix anything resembling respect goes right out the window.

Jealousy is a big part of the picture too. It's not always about addictions. In my experiences, they play a fair part, but jealousy is it. "You've got it, I want it, and I don't want to go get it myself". Well,... That, and kleptomania. Yeah... Some people have a desire to steal above what any of us care to work to do it. People can be such pricks either way
Word! We hired a painter/laborer last year... we went into a local paint supplier, and he was told whatever tools he thought would make his job easier, to put them on the company tab. Instead, he shoplifted in front of store employees, who for some reason, didn't bust him. We figured it out when we found the unusual paintbrushes, and they weren't on the bill. He's a nice enough guy, and we needed the help, but I had him fired. It's a very small company, and we can't afford to lose the last supplier we have locally, or have that black mark on our reputation among other tradesmen.Naga wrote:That, and kleptomania. Yeah... The guy had NO reason to steal! All he had to do was take the stuff to the counter and put it on our bill! He had no current drug problems, either.--->JMS
