Indeed. Had to look up "Ashes to Ashes". Great tune.

And Patton makes a great skeeky lookin' neighbourhood per-type, doesn't he.

I was on a huge Faith No More kick about a month ago. A lot of bands mix so many styles and influences and it just comes off like a bad tasting concoction out of a blender. Faith No More were always good at pulling it off.

I never got into Mr. Bungle, though. :?

There are always at least 2 FNM albums with me. Honestly, I kind of lost lost a little interest when Jim left the band, but they've been in my personal top 5 favorites all along.

Didn't Mike Patton use FNM to promote Mr. Bungle from the beginning of his time in the band?

Most of Mr. Bungles stuff was a little much to take in, there were only a couple of their tunes that I could listen to the whole way through. As for FNM, I remember watching MTV and seeing exploding fish and hearing Falling To Pieces...I was hooked. Then Angel Dust was released...WOW...still one of my favorite albums ever.

The thing I like most about these guys is that they aren't afraid to play what they like and were inspired by:

Yeah, he wore a Mr. Bungle shirt in the video for Epic.

If I remember correctly. I haven't seen that vid in years.

I still think that Jim Martin was their best guitar player.

I didn't become a crazy FNM fan until I heard Mr. Bungle. Then I wanted to digest everything Mike Patton did. If it wasn't for those guys I probably would've done something useful with my life.

I think they showed this on Palladia a couple months ago. It wasn't the entire festival. But from what I seen it was Slipknot, FNM, Staind, Killswitch Engage, Limp Bizkit, Hatebreed, Korn, and Down. Apparently there were a pile more according to the wiki site, but I was pleasantly surprised. I never really heard too much Faith No More, nothing that wasn't heavily radio played, but after watching that festival on TV, I have a new respect for them. Great find.

I have to unwillingly admit though when I first seen FNM on there, and didn't know who they were I was like wow, the Presidents of the United States of America added some people to their band. Then I seen it was FNM and was like...oh, ok, now I'll be able to actually know who FNM is.

Last year FNM did a European reunion tour...it was a hit! So...FNM has announced to tour through the states. When...nothing set in stone yet. However, they did do about seven or eight US dates this past spring/summer.
