I also have a job and a family that gets first billing. Hi, my name is Scott, I'm a guitar player from Hollidaysburg. I'm 40, have a full time job and family and like you they come first. I used to play out in bands a few years ago, but don't want to play out anymore, just get together and jam on some songs. I play primarily 80's hair metal, a few country tunes. Where in Cambria county are you? It's funny, because I was just thinking about this the other day, saying I would like to get together with a full band, but just play for ourselves for some fun. Going to put this back up to the top; had something going during winter, but it fell apart when the practice space ran out of heat. I'm about 10 minutes from Coalport, 15 from Ashville, 20 from Carrolltown etc.- I live near Glendale Lake. I'm not opposed to going to Altoona or Bellwood. I recently got a nice PDP kit, and still have my portable bop kit. Looking to get together on the weekends whenever possible and maybe learn enough songs to open or do a gig or so a month.

I might be able to find a garage in Altoona or Bellwood with electricity; as far as other players, I could probably call the bass player I was playing with over the winter; he works in Altoona and can do some singing.
