The Wall...

Post by Jsun76 »

MGM HD was showing Pink Floyd's The Wall uncut the other night. I haven't seen this movie in years. Used to be one of my favs(back in my stoner years). Wasn't sure if it would be as good now. This movie is still bad ass.
I'm a drummer...I just hang out with musicians.

'Tis. I have it on VHS any time you want to view, Jas. Really, it's down there somewhere. Somewhere.

My VHS wore out, so I got the DVD. I hope it holds out.

Agreed - amazing flick.

Funny thing is, P Floyd hate it. The director diverged from their vision too much. I get the feeling, as weird as it is, a version truer to the band's ideas would have been even stranger.

All but Waters hated it. Mostly because the Wall was a Waters solo album under the Pink Floyd name. If you look at the history of the band - There was a lot of bad blood around that time ...

Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.

I agree. Gilmour's riffs are some of my favorite ones ...
