Just answering my own question, for closure for anybody else who was wondering...Ryan's new band is Breakdown. The line-up (going by the poster) is Ryan, Dan Martino, Dan McCloskey and Billy Mort. They debut at City Limits Mar. 13.
Ryan McCulley - guitar/vocals - bands he has been in off the top of my head - coffin peg, korruption, whos your daddy (I am sure there were a few others in there along the way but coffee hasn't kicked in & still in a nyquil haze) , brother to drummer Steve McCulley.
Lonewolf, let me know the details on the new band, and I'll be out to see it sometime soon.
As far as Ryan's new band, I needed the info for City Limits' ad in PA Musician this month, as nobody knew the name of the group until their posters showed up at City Limits this past weekend.
My recent stolen guitar episode has left us without a bass player. I think it will end up as just another yearly installment of the continuing saga "50 reasons why you should be a solo performer".
I'll let you know what happens. Meanwhile, Lonewolf will return in April at the Hitching Post. details later.
